MADE ON STATEN ISLAND / FOR FILM PRODUCTIONS
FILM & TV OFFICE
The Borough President has created the Film & TV Office to assist filmmakers, location scouts and others in accessing Staten Island as a location for film productions, TV shows, commercials, music videos and documentaries. We have become very attractive to production companies for many reasons, not the least of which is our diverse locales. In addition to the state’s tax break for local filming, Staten Island is home to thousands of locations from beaches to suburban streets to parks to college campuses to historic homes to bustling urban streets. Come see what productions like Gotham, The Americans and so many others have already found out.
PERMITS

HOW OUR OFFICE CAN HELP
The staff of the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department are available to assist not only production companies and location scouts, but Island organizations to facilitate positive filmings in our borough. The Office is a clearing house for filming, maintaining requests, film location lists, a calendar of filming when possible, and functions as a liaison between film companies and organizations that have identified themselves as film friendly.
