“By working together to reach their goal, these players have shown the power of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance,” BP Oddo said. “As a proud Farrell graduate, I am particularly thrilled to congratulate them in person on their big win.”
After exchanging baseball stories with the team and reminiscing on his own time at Farrell, BP Oddo challenged the students to a game of whiffle ball against Borough Hall staff. Unwilling to let the rain spoil the fun, the Borough President hosted the game inside the building. Afterwards, BP Oddo welcomed the players to his office, where he rewarded them with a proclamation to honor their hard work and achievement.
