B.P. Molinaro announces new autism services resource guide

Staten Island’s first-ever comprehensive guide to available services in the Borough

      STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Borough President James P. Molinaro today announced the availability of Staten Island’s first-ever comprehensive resource guide to autism services in the Borough.   

      “I am pleased to announce that the Borough President’s Committee on Autism, which consists of members of my staff and the Island’s autism services providers, has produced a new, comprehensive resource guide that contains detailed contact information for autism organizations on Staten Island that offer services to both children and adults,” said Molinaro. “Finding the right place for autism treatment and services can be a difficult process, but we hope that this handy booklet will help make that journey easier.”

      The free guide, which was first distributed at last week’s “Stand Together for Autism Services on Staten Island” event at the Michael J. Petrides School, will be available from the following autism services providers:

      The guide will also be available at the Department of Education’s Parent Engagement Office at 715 Ocean Terrace, Building A, in Sunnyside.
